Mr. Parmar has more than 20 years of experience as a senior executive and a director of high growth Canadian companies. Prior to joining Ostara, he was the CFO of a local family office where he managed investments, capital and M&A activity for a portfolio of growing businesses located in Western Canada. He was also the CFO of two Vancouver based technology companies where he led their going public processes on the TSX and AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Parmar holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of British Columbia, is a graduate of the Ivey Executive Management Program at the University of Western Ontario, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
MOLLY BIEDENFELD, BS, MBA
Vice President, Nutrients Market Development and Sales
Ms. Biedenfeld has 20 years of experience in the agriculture industry, about half of that in the fertilizer market. She joined Cargill Inc. in 2001 as commodity merchandiser and transitioned to The Mosaic Company in 2007 where she held various roles within the potash and phosphate divisions. In 2011, Ms. Biedenfeld was appointed Senior Manager of North American Phosphates, where she directed the positioning and risk management of Mosaic’s phosphate fertilizer portfolio. She has a Bachelor of Science from Colorado State University and an MBA from University of Minnesota.
PATRICK MITCHELL, BComm, S.C.M.P.
Supply Chain Manager
Mr. Mitchell has more than 10 years of experience in the supply chain and manufacturing industry. Mr. Mitchell is a leading specialist in process improvement, cost reduction and supply chain optimization. He has held management positions at both fast-growth organizations such as Zag Global Group where he managed their supply chain and international manufacturing operations, and at established beverage producers: Molson Brewery (Strategic Distribution Inc.) and PepsiCo Beverage Canada. Mr. Mitchell has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, and is a certified Supply Chain Management Professional (S.C.M.P.)
